Wayne Westcott

Senior Manager and Aquatic Specialist

Wayne join the ENVASS team in 2018, he is currently a Business Unit Manager and the divisional head of wetland and aquatics at ENVASS in control of works nationwide. He is a registered wetland and aquatic ecologist with SACNASP and holds a BSc Honours degree in water resource management from Rhodes University. He has been accredited as a SASS5 aquatic biomonitoring and wetland delineation and assessment practitioner by the national Department of Water and Sanitation accreditor with several years of experience in the environmental sector.

His project experience ranges from medium-to-large-scale linear and residential developments to large-scale mining-related works in all aspects of ecological assessments. In his spare time, he enjoys having a run on the squash court or hiking in the wilderness with friends and colleagues alike.
