Jana Liebenberg

Environmental Assessment Practitioner and Divisional Head: Water Use Authorisations

Jana joined the ENVASS Group in May 2022, she is registered as an Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP) with the Environmental Assessment Practitioners Association of South Africa (EAPASA) and holds a BSc honors degree in Environmental Management.

She has more than 11 years ‘experience within multidisciplinary work environments, and industry sectors which has enabled her to gain valuable skills and experience in environmental consultation and management. Her core competencies include environmental analysis, water use authorisation applications, compliance auditing, water quality monitoring, and environmental authorisation applications.

Jana also has expertise in the compilation and management of a Health, Safety, and Environmental Management system that is in line with the requirements of the OHS Act, Regulations, and Environmental Legislation, and ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 requirements.

In addition, Jana also holds a Safety Management Training Course (SAMTRAC) certificate and is registered with the Green Building Council of South Africa as a Green Star Accredited Professional.
