Gareth joined the ENVASS team in October 2022, he is currently an Environmental Scientist at ENVASS. He holds a BSc Honours Degree in Geography and Environmental Science from UKZN. He has been accredited as a SASS5 aquatic biomonitoring and wetland delineation and assessment practitioner by the National Department of Water and Sanitation with several years of experience in the environmental sector. He has experience in conducting wetland assessments, aquatic assessments, alien and invasive plant removal monitoring, soil erosion monitoring, wetland auditing, and various aspects of Water Use Licence Applications. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring nature with friends and colleagues alike.
