Dina has 16 years of experience in the ferrochrome industry in the specific fields of laboratory management, chemical analysis, final product coordination, and quality control, as well as national and international product marketing and logistics management.

She graduated with a BSc degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry from the University of the North West in 1993 and began her career in the ferrochrome industry that same year. She joined Hernic in 1997 as Chief Analyst and was later promoted to the position of Laboratory Manager. She was subsequently given the additional responsibilities of final product and quality control.

Dina completed her Master of Business Administration degree at the University of the North West in 2004 after which she transferred to Hernic’s marketing team. She has authored and presented papers relating to the ferrochrome market at several international conferences.

She was responsible for Hernic’s marketing department as the Marketing and Logistics Manager.
